Bruno Raspanti

Bruno Raspanti is a renowned Italian artist, sculptor and painter, born in 1938 in Ozzano dell’Emilia, near Bologna. His art is distinguished by his ability to transform humble materials and everyday objects into sculptures rich in poetry and meaning. Trained at the Art Institute and Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna, where he also taught, Raspanti creates sculptures using materials such as terracotta, wood, and bronze, often incorporating found objects to bring evocative “memory theaters” to life. His works have been exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions both in Italy and abroad, solidifying his position as a prominent figure in contemporary art.
