Trade Show Stand for Gelt International at the Salón del Gas Renovable

We designed the Gelt International stand for the Salón del Gas Renovable in Valladolid, Spain. A project in which aesthetics, functionality and brand identity work together.

The trade show stand is often the first physical point of contact between a company and its potential customers. For Gelt International, a scientific and technical consulting firm, we designed the exhibition space presented at the Salón del Gas Renovable in Valladolid, Spain. Let's look at the needs we started from and how we translated them into a space.

The starting point: who Gelt International is

Gelt International supports companies from a range of industrial sectors on complex issues: regulatory compliance, quality, safety and environmental management. It is a business built on expertise and trust, and by its nature it is hard to show at a glance. There is no product to put on display: there is a method, a body of knowledge, a capacity for support.

This is precisely the challenge of a stand for a service company: making visible what cannot be touched. The context also matters. A trade show dedicated to renewable gas brings together operators, technicians and decision-makers who visit dozens of exhibitors within a few hours. The stand has to be recognized immediately and explain itself effortlessly.

The project: aesthetics, functionality and brand identity

We built the project on three levels that must work together, because if one is missing, the stand loses its effectiveness.

– Aesthetics: modern lines and eye-catching colors, to attract attention in a crowded environment without giving up a professional image. – Functionality: dedicated exhibition areas, designed to organize content and guide visitors through the space. – Brand identity: a design that highlights Gelt International's innovative spirit and aligns it with the way the company presents itself.

The goal was to offer an immersive experience: a space where visitors don't just walk past, but step in, find their bearings and understand who they are talking to.

Why dedicated exhibition areas make the difference

At a trade show, attention spans are short. Dividing the stand into areas with a specific function helps manage the flow of people: there is a space for the content on show, one for conversation, and one that communicates the brand from a distance. For a consulting company, this means being able to present its areas of expertise in an orderly way, instead of relying only on brochures and presentations.

The modern look, moreover, is consistent with the company's positioning. A business that works on safety, quality and the environment must convey precision and order, but also the ability to look ahead. Color serves to make the stand memorable, provided that it remains at the service of the visual identity and does not replace it.

What this means for a company taking part in a trade show

The work for Gelt International offers some useful takeaways for anyone preparing a trade show presence, in Italy or abroad.

1. Start from identity, not from structure. The stand is an extension of the brand: if the logo, colors and tone of voice are not clear, the project starts off weak. 2. Define what the space needs to do. Welcoming, showcasing, bringing people together, collecting contacts: each function requires an area and a path. 3. Think about the visitor on the move. The main message must be readable from a distance and within a few seconds. 4. Coordinate all your materials. Graphics, catalogs and digital content must speak with the same voice as the stand.

For companies in Emilia-Romagna, which frequently take part in national and international events, this approach is a concrete way to get a return on their trade show investment.
