We will collect and process the following personal information about you, mainly when you fill in the contact form or subscribe to our newsletter:

• Name
• Email
• Phone number

We will use the information we collect about you for the following purposes:

• Responding to your requests and providing support
• Marketing / Promotional purposes (e.g. newsletter, if you subscribed)
• Administrative information related to our services

If we want to use your information for any other purpose, we will ask you for consent and will use it only upon receiving your consent and then, only for the purpose(s) for which permission was granted, unless we are required to do otherwise by law.

We will not transfer your personal information to any third party without seeking your consent, except in the limited circumstances described below. We require such third parties to use the personal information we transfer to them only for the purpose for which it was transferred and not to retain it for longer than is required for fulfilling the said purpose.

We may also disclose your personal information as follows: (1) to comply with applicable laws, regulations, court orders or other legal process; (2) to enforce your agreements with us, including this Privacy Policy; or (3) to respond to claims that your use of the Service violates third-party rights. If the Service or our company is merged or acquired with another company, your information will be one of the assets transferred to the new owner.

The website offers a virtual assistant based on artificial intelligence, which answers questions about ME Communication, its services and its work. To generate the answers, the messages you write in the chat are sent to Mistral AI SAS (Paris, France), the provider of the model, through a service with processing in Europe. Mistral AI processes these messages on our behalf, only to produce the answer and for the security checks provided for in its terms of service; the use of conversations to train its models is disabled.

The conversation is stored on our servers anonymously, without your IP address or information about your device, to improve the service and better understand the needs of the people who contact us (for example the type of business and the service they are looking for). For this purpose it may be classified automatically through the same provider, Mistral AI. After 12 months the text of the conversation is deleted and only aggregated statistics remain. In your browser it stays only for the duration of your visit (see the Cookie Policy).

If you choose to leave your contact details through the form inside the chat, your name, email, phone number (if provided) and the conversation are sent directly to us (not to Mistral AI) and are kept like any other contact request, in order to reply to you, as described in the section "Retention of your information".

Please do not write personal data (name, phone, email) or confidential information in the chat: use the form if you want us to contact you. To protect the service from abuse, your IP address is used temporarily to limit the number of messages sent per hour.

Answers are generated automatically and may contain inaccuracies: for binding information (quotes, timing, terms) only what we tell you directly applies.

Requests you send us through the contact form or the form inside the chat are automatically deleted 12 months after the last contact (when we received them or our last reply), unless a working relationship starts in the meantime: in that case we keep them for the duration of the relationship and for legal obligations (for example tax obligations).

We will retain your other personal information for as long as is reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, as detailed in this Privacy Policy, and in any case no longer than 2 years from the last contact, unless a longer retention period is required by law. We may need to retain certain information for longer periods for record-keeping/reporting in accordance with applicable law, or for other legitimate reasons like the enforcement of legal rights, fraud prevention, etc.

Depending on the applicable law, you may have the right to access and rectify or erase your personal data, receive a copy of it, restrict or object to the active processing of your data, ask us to share (port) your personal information to another entity, withdraw any consent given for the processing of your data, the right to lodge a complaint with a statutory authority (in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali) and such other rights as may be relevant under applicable laws. Do note that if you do not allow us to collect or process the required personal information, or withdraw the consent to process the same for the required purposes, you may not be able to access or use the services for which your information was sought.
